There can be no doubt that the quality of leadership is the single most significant factor in the overall effectiveness of a school organisation. All evidence from OFSTED, NCSL, L.L.C. and I of E (London) indicate that leadership is the main impact on the overall performance of a school.

However, how much time do school leaders or leadership teams spend on leadership? The reality is that most of a leaders/leadership team's time is spent on management and management issues. It is estimated that as much as 90% of leadership time is directed towards management-based tasks, being reactive and focusing on the daily management of the organisation. Without dedicated and committed time in true leadership, considering the organisation in years to come and genuine futures-thinking processes, an organisation will continue to do what it has always done!

ES4S offer a wide-range of leadership support and development systems. We are able to work with individuals or teams, exploring a wide variety of educational issues, including creating a transformational school culture, succession-planning, curriculum development and effective systems for CPD. We offer support on a one-off basis or over a series of sessions that might take place on a termly or half-termly basis.
